-COMPETENCY 1: Moving about an area with and without obstacles/ object manipulation
-COMPETENCY 2: Synchronizes his/her movements or actions with partner(s)/ cooperates with partner(s) while performing movements or actions in the right place at the right time
TACTICS:
-Work as a team to find a solution to untie the rope
-Communicate during the game
-Separate yourself from your partner faster than the other teams
FORMATION: Several teams of 2 players are formed. Each player is having a rope. Teams take place in the playing area and they listen to the commands of the teacher before starting the game.
DESCRIPTION OF PLAY:
-The goal of the separate yourself from your teammate before any other team
-All players must hold the rope with their 2 hands and need to hold the rope at all time during the game. No one can let the rope drop and take it back after.
-LAYER 1: Let every team experience the game on their own and discuss about strategies. Player can move in space with the ball on their noodle
-LAYER 2: Play the game just like a tournament
-LAYER 3: Same thing as layer 2, but when the ball is dropped, player restart from the beginning instead of restarting from where they were
MODIFICATIONS:
-Use different type of ball or different length of noodle
-Vary the distance that each team must travel
-Add obstacles on the playing area that team must avoid while moving
SAFETY:
-Stay away from the walls
-Students should be spread out on the starting line
-Students must be aware to keep eyes up and avoid collision
