-COMPETENCY 1: Moving about an area with and without obstacles/ object manipulation
-COMPETENCY 2: Synchronizes his/her movements or actions with partner(s)
TACTICS:
-Work as a team to reach the end line
-Communicate with your partners
-Move faster than the other team and with efficiency
FORMATION: Several teams of 3-4 players are formed. For each team, there will be several noodles (6-10) allowed. Cones are marking the playing area and the starting line and the finish line.
DESCRIPTION OF PLAY:
-The goal of the game is to reach the finish line before the other teams
-Children will have to think how they can move their player on the noodle faster than the other teams
-The player on the noodle can’t touch the floor and if he touches the floor, the team must restart from the starting line
-LAYER 1: Show the children how to play the game and explain different technique
-LAYER 2: Each team can experience the game
-LAYER 3: Each team is now competing against each other to reach the finish line before the other one
-LAYER 4: Place obstacles on the playing area
MODIFICATIONS:
-Use different number of noodle allowed for each team
-Place obstacles on the playing area
SAFETY:
-Stay away from the walls
-Students should work slowly and safely with each other
-Let enough space between each team
