FORMATION: Place one basket at each end of the playing area. One of the baskets contains all the beanbags. Make four different lines placing several hoops on the floor one after the other to create a chain. The four different lines are all of different colors. Every student takes place in line behind the hoops.
DESCRIPTION OF PLAY:
-The goal of the game is to bring back all the gold in their basket as fast as possible
-Students can only have one gold in their hands and must stay in the hoops, avoiding alligators and sharks waiting for them under the bridges.
-Each line represents a different movement pattern to follow
-Players need to work together to gather all the gold
-LAYER 1: Basic movement pattern and move safely in the space to learn which movement pattern is linked to which color
-LAYER 2: Players will follow the movement pattern by their own without any help from the instructor
-LAYER 3: Students must gather the gold as fast as possible respecting the movement pattern as well
-LAYER 4: Students can only move 3 hoops forward or backward. So team work will be necessary to retrieve gold
MODIFICATIONS:
-Increase or reduce the space between each hoop
-Change the line color so children have to perform different movement pattern in one single line
SAFETY:
-No pushing during the game
-Students must keep their head up to avoid collision
