PROGRESSIONS OF LEARNING:
-COMPETENCY 1: Moving about an area with and without obstacles/ rotations on the spot and on apparatus/ object manipulation
-COMPETENCY 2: Cooperates with partner(s) while performing movements or actions in the right place at the right time/ synchronizes his/her movements or actions with partner(s)
TACTICS:
-OFFENSE: Taggers need to touch every player on the field
-DEFENSE: Avoid all the players and try to avoid being tagged by the taggers
FORMATION: Every player is in team of 2. They can get wherever they want on the playing area. All the teams use a penny that links the two players together. One team of taggers is choose by the teacher and is given some noodle as weapon to touch the opponent players.
DESCRIPTION OF PLAY:
-Each team is linked by a penny, so both players of one team need to follow each other and avoid the taggers
-Once a team is touched by the taggers, they join them up which make the tagging team bigger and bigger as they touch more players
-The goal of the game is to touch everyone until one final team is alive
-LAYER 1: Basic movement pattern and move safely in the space
-LAYER 2: 1 team of taggers
-LAYER 3: 2 teams of taggers
MODIFICATIONS:
-Players who are tagged form their own tagging team
-Add taggers at the beginning of the game
-Use different object for the taggers
SAFETY:
-Students should keep eyes up when moving in the space
-Proper touching when tagging other players
-End lines away from the walls
