FUNDAMENTAL TECHNIQUES:
-LOCOMOTOR
-NON-LOCOMOTOR
PROGRESSIONS OF LEARNING:
-COMPETENCY 1: Moving about an area with and without obstacles/ rotations on the spot and on apparatus
TACTICS:
-Students must run as fast as possible around the circle and stay aware of anyone coming. This will also work on their reaction time.
FORMATION: Form several circles with 8 players. No boundaries but let some space between every circle. One person is choose as the first leading player of the game.
DESCRIPTION OF PLAY:
-The goal of the game is to run around the circle and to enter your place before your opponent.
-When you’ve cross the half of the circle, you must stop and shake your hands while saying howdy neighbour.
-The two players beside the leading player start ton run only when the player calls go get yer supper.
-The last person to come around the circle is the one who choose a place and call the go get yer supper.
-LAYER 1: Basic movement pattern and move safely in the space
-LAYER 2: Use different movement pattern when moving in the playing area
-LAYER 3: Turn on the other side of the circle
MODIFICATIONS:
-Players must do 5 burpees when they reached their own spot.
-Use or create larger circle
-Students must carry an object while running
SAFETY:
-Students must keep their head up when running
-They should also slow down when reaching the opponent to avoid collision
-Let enough space between each circle
