FUNDAMENTAL TECHNIQUES:
-LOCOMOTOR
-NON-LOCOMOTOR
PROGRESSIONS OF LEARNING:
-COMPETENCY 1: Moving about an area with and without obstacles/ rotations on the spot and on apparatus
-COMPETENCY 2: Synchronizes his/her movements or actions with partner(s)/ protects the goal
TACTICS:
-OFFENSE: Tagging the opponent player
-DEFENSE: Avoid the taggers and turn around
FORMATION: 4 students per team. 3 players form a triangle and hold their hands together. 1 player is the tagger and is outside the triangle. Form as many team as possible to increase the maximal individual potential.
DESCRIPTION OF PLAY:
-After the triangle is formed, the game can start and the tagger tries to reach the target.
-No pushing is allowed and no one can cross the triangle. The players can only rotate.
-The goal of this game is to reach the target. Once the target is touched, players change roles in order to try every task of the defending and attacking team.
-If a player can’t touch the target after 45 seconds, players switch roles either way.
-LAYER 1: Basic movement pattern and move safely in the space
-LAYER 2: Players experience the game for the first time with basic rules
-LAYER 3: Only allow the defending team to move on one foot
MODIFICATIONS:
-Play the game with different form as square and pentagon
SAFETY:
-Soft tags when touching the player
-Don’t pull forcefully on each other’s arm
-Space between every team to avoid collision
