-COMPETENCY 1: Moving about an area with and without obstacles/ object manipulation
-COMPETENCY 2: Methods of communication (visual signals, verbal cues)/ synchronizes his/her movements or actions with partner(s)
TACTICS:
-Communicate and follow the directions of your teammates
-Find the correct piece of the skeleton and assemble it correctly
FORMATION: Make several teams of 4-5 players around the gym. Each team will receive an unassembled cardboard skeleton that they will use through the game. One blindfold will be necessary for each team as well and one hoop will be placed in the middle of the field.
DESCRIPTION OF PLAY:
-The goal of this game is to assemble the cardboard skeleton before the other teams
-Each team will decide which player goes in which order during the game
-LAYER 1: The students will learn to assemble the cardboard skeleton with their team first before playing the game
-LAYER 2: Experience the game a first time with the piece in the middle hoop and teammates helping the blindfolded person to pick up the right card and bring it back to their team
MODIFICATIONS:
-Play the game but with one missing piece in the middle, so that only the fastest team will win
-Have the pieces scattered in the whole playing area instead of only in the middle
SAFETY:
-Slow movement with the blindfolded person
-Give clear directions to your teammates and guide them correctly
-Clear the rest of the playing area to avoid injuries
