Special Games
Photo
Special games are always interesting to play, because they bring a creative aspect to the teaching session. We usually play these games for holidays as Christmas or Halloween. Children are excited about these holidays and nothing best could be but to play games within these concepts. Some vampires, zombies and wizards are always a warm welcome for students. These games only come a few times a year and they are always funny and bring great modifications to usual class.

A few games exist especially for these holidays, but you can always play normal games with some costumes on as well. The principal goal is still to bring children to an active level and to enjoy physical activity. However, I think it’s a good period of time where student have plenty of energy and that bringing new games will only let them more and more active than usual.

There is no specific tactical problems with these games as they can apply to any games categories, but most of the time, they include tagging and chasing just as in pursuit and evade games. I would personally focus more on high activity level with theses games and let children fall into the magic of the holidays.
