Pursuit and Evade games are very important type of games for the children development. Who never played a tag games when they were young. Everyone did! We don’t play these games only because they are important to our development, but also because they bring joy, fun and amusement to youngster. Frozen tag is probably one of the most known pursuit and evade games. The main goal of this game and of mostly every pursuit and evade games is to tag your opponent without being touch yourself. So the game itself involve offense and defensive strategy at the same time more known as chasing and evading your opponents.

This type of game needs a lot of fundamental skills to be played and this is also why fundamental movements are so important. Furthermore, these games will increase and develop children’s abilities to perform different task as the following ones: feint a player, make rapid changes in direction, find the open space, get away from the opponent, etc.

Moreover, what is fun about pursuit and evade games, is that they do not require a lot of equipment. Most of the time, only space and pennies can do the trick and a whole bunch of games can played. Children will love it and spend a lot of energy, which is one of the goal of physical activity.
