FUNDAMENTAL TECHNIQUES:

PROGRESSIONS OF LEARNING:
-COMPETENCY 1: Moving about an area with and without obstacles/ rotations on the spot and on apparatus/ object manipulation
TACTICS:
-Players must run fast and do some quick changes of direction for this game
FORMATION: Place all the bean bags in the middle of the field. Ends line are marked with cones where students must brings in the bean bags. Make sure the bean bags are well dispersed.
DESCRIPTION OF PLAY:
-The goal of this game is to bring as many bean bags as possible to your own side of the field.
-You can only carry one bean bag at the time.
-When the music start the game goes on and when the music stops the players must freeze.
-LAYER 1: Basic movement pattern and move safely in the space
-LAYER 2: Stop the music during the game to create freeze time
-LAYER 3: Players are able to do passes
-LAYER 4: Change movement pattern
MODIFICATIONS:
-Smaller or longer area of play
-2 groups instead of only 1 to increase MIP
-Create another line where offensive player can’t pass which will create passing tactics between offensive and defensive players
SAFETY:
-End lines away from walls
-Advise students to be careful when picking up bean bags because collision could happen in the middle
